Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Scope and Subject of the Contract

These terms of use govern the use of the services offered by Kingsford York (hereinafter "Provider") in the field of traditional and modern interior design. The Provider offers consulting and planning services for private and commercial clients.

The subject of the contract is the creation of individual design concepts that combine classic elements with modern requirements. The exact services are specified in the respective offer or contract.

2. Contract Conclusion and User Obligations

The contract is concluded upon the client's acceptance of an offer from the Provider. The client undertakes to provide all information necessary for the performance of the service truthfully and completely.

  • The client is responsible for the accuracy of their information.
  • The client may not pass on the created concepts to third parties without the Provider's consent.
  • The client is obliged to inform the Provider of any changes to their contact details.
3. Rights and Obligations of the Provider

The Provider undertakes to perform the agreed services professionally and on time. The Provider reserves the right to change or discontinue the services at any time, provided this does not affect contracts already concluded.

The Provider is entitled to use subcontractors to perform the services, unless this has been expressly excluded.

4. Remuneration and Payment Terms

The remuneration for the services provided is specified in the respective offer or contract. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt without deduction.

In the event of late payment, the Provider is entitled to charge default interest at the statutory rate. The Provider reserves the right to suspend further performance of services until outstanding claims are fully settled in the event of late payment.

5. Liability and Warranty

The Provider is fully liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior of the Provider. For simple negligence, the Provider is liable only if a material contractual obligation is breached.

The warranty for services provided is 12 months from acceptance. The client is obliged to report any defects in writing immediately upon discovery.

6. Data Protection and Confidentiality

The Provider processes the client's personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.

Both parties undertake not to disclose any confidential information received in the course of the business relationship to third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract or required by law.

7. Changes to Terms and Termination

The Provider reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. The client will be informed of material changes by email. If the client does not object to the changes within four weeks, they are deemed accepted.

Both parties may terminate the contract with one month's notice to the end of the month. The right to terminate for cause remains unaffected.

8. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these terms of use be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In place of the invalid provision, a valid regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose shall apply.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the registered office of the Provider.
